Introduction to PFS
SHOEI’s Personal Fitting System (PFS) is a professional fitting service that customises a SHOEI motorcycle helmet to the rider’s individual head shape.
Instead of relying solely on standard helmet sizes, PFS uses precise head measurements and specialised software to recommend the most suitable helmet size and identify where the internal padding should be adjusted. A trained PFS specialist then modifies the helmet’s inner padding to create a more secure, stable and comfortable fit.
A properly fitted helmet remains securely positioned while riding, reduces uncomfortable pressure points and may also improve balance and sound isolation. The helmet’s protective shell is not altered during the process.
What happens during PFS
The fitting begins with a trained specialist measuring the rider’s head in four areas, including its circumference, length, width and height. These measurements are entered into SHOEI’s PFS software, which analyses the rider’s head shape and recommends an appropriate helmet size and the areas where padding adjustments may be needed.
Adjustments are tested and fine-tuned until the desired fit is achieved. Once both the rider and specialist are satisfied, the fitting pads are permanently secured to the removable inner lining.

How long does a PFS appointment take?
Each PFS session takes approximately 30-40mins, depending on the adjustments required for each individual.
When do new slots become available?
New booking slots are released every 15th of the month at 2:00 PM.

Do I need to make an appointment.
Yes, a reservation is required. Please note that anyone without a booking will be not eligible for a PFS.
What do i need to bring to my PFS appointment.
If you are fitting an existing SHOEI helmet, please bring the helmet and the email address used for your booking. (Please bring the same model stated in your booking)
We recommend purchasing a new compatible inner liner for the PFS adjustment. Once the fitting pads have been secured to the liner, they cannot be removed or transferred.

Helmet Suitability and Comfort FAQ
Can i get PFS for any SHOEI helmet models?
PFS is available for all SHOEI helmets only, with removable center padding in good condition. Please contact us with your helmet model to confirm compatibility.
Can PFS correct a helmet that is the wrong size?
PFS can improve the fit through padding adjustments, but it cannot compensate for a helmet shell that is fundamentally too large or too small.
Can the fitted lining still be removed and washed?
Yes. The customised inner lining remains removable and washable.
Will the padding loosen over time?
Like all helmet interiors, the padding may gradually settle with use. How much it changes depends on the helmet, frequency of use and individual riding conditions.
What if the helmet feels uncomfortable after I start riding?
Contact us if you experience persistent pressure points, excessive movement or discomfort. Further assessment and adjustments may be possible.
Records and Personal Data FAQ
Will my PFS measurements be saved?
Yes. Your contact details, head measurements and fitting specifications will be stored in SHOEI’s PFS system so authorised specialists can retrieve your fitting record for future PFS appointments.
Personal Data Consent
By booking your PFS slot, you consent to Chong Aik International Pte Ltd for collecting and using your name and email address to process and manage your SHOEI Personal Fitting System (PFS) appointment and communicate with you regarding your booking.
You also consent to your personal data and PFS fitting information, including your head measurements and fitting specifications, being disclosed to and stored within SHOEI’s PFS system. This allows your fitting record to be retrieved using your email address for this and any future PFS appointments.
